Selin completed her BSc in Biochemistry and Genome Biology at the University of Toronto with a minor in immunology, followed by an MSc in Genes, Drugs and Stem Cells – Novel Therapies at Imperial College London. Her thesis project focused on respiratory immunology and antiviral responses in asthma during the common cold infection, where she gained experience in clinical research, cell culture, immunological and molecular biology techniques.
As a Scientist at Virtus, Selin supports the company’s ongoing clinical and pre-clinical research projects through conducting laboratory-based assays, clinical sample processing, and experimental data analysis while adhering to high-quality research standards.
