VirTus Respiratory Research has played a key role in the development of Apollo Therapeutics’ APL-10456, supporting the programme through more than five years of preclinical research. Through over 20 studies, VirTus helped evaluate vaccine candidates, establish proof of concept and generate the data that supported progression into first-in-human clinical trials. The programme has now achieved positive initial Phase 1 results, demonstrating that APL-10456 was well tolerated and generated broad immune responses against all three rhinovirus species.
